here's a few words from my mummy . . .

Hi everyone. We really hope you have been enjoying the pictures of our GORGEOUS wee man as much as we have! Cully will be three months old next week and we really can't believe how fast he is GROWING and changing.

Since turning 30 this month (!) I have been REFLECTING on the events of my 29th year and thought I would share the highlights of the year.

September 05 - Mum, Dad & David came over to visit us. It was great to show them our world over here.

October 05 - Mum & I went on a fabulous holiday to Cairns and a boat trip to the Great Barrier Reef. It was SPECTACULAR!

November 05 - Discovered that one month after going to the healing service at church I had conceived our MIRACLE baby - Cully! Also graduated from college after two years of studying pastoral leadership.

December 05 - went on a wee holiday to Tasmania before heading back to Scotland for Christmas. Had a great time visiting family and friends. Enjoyed the home cooking. Loved the snowy weather. Had to say final goodbye to our dog, Buddy, who is now part of a great family - thanks to Colin & Judith. We miss him heaps. Met our neice Ellen and god-daughter Bethany for the first time and LOVED seeing neices Ella and Bethany after two years.

January 06 - spent new year with Martin, Lynsey and god-daughter Bethany. What a LAUGH we had playing Uno into the wee small hours of the morning! Made the long journey back to Oz just in time for the 40 degree heat wave!

February 06 - Mark turned 30 and Lorna arrived in Oz. It's great having Lorna as our flatmate - it's like having a wee piece of home in our house!

March 06 - Celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary. I was BAPTISED in our pool! Lorna and I went to Colour Your World Women's Conference along with 12,000 other women. It was brilliant.

April 06 - Cooked a whole chicken for Easter sunday lunch! This might not seem newsworthy to you but it was a big deal in our house! Started working in the college library part-time.

May 06 - Hosted a fundraising Ceilidh at church and everybody loved it! At first they were a bit hesitant but soon got into it and said that they had never had so much FUN!! Who would have thought it? Mark enjoyed floating around in his kilt . . .

June 06 - My friends organised a baby shower for me as we moved closer to the due date. We had lots of fun and I got loads of nice pressies.

July 06 - Enjoyed Hillsong conference and gave birth to my BEAUTIFUL son Cully on the 11th of July!

August 06 - Mum came out to meet her new grandson and we had a brilliant time. I couldn't have done weeks 5 & 6 of his life without her! Thanks Granma!

September 06 - CELEBRATED 30 years on the planet by playing charades with friends and eating lots of yummy food. Lorna took me out for lunch to my favourite restaurant too. mmmm

SO, there it is. My year summed up in a few sentences. Looking forward to this next year of my life more than ever before because the best is yet to come!
